Thank you for the very kind words. I'm glad that you're learning a lot on the forum and from the calls. It's great that you decided to jump in and become a part of this community. Just as you are learning from others, I know others are learning from you. The quote from "To Kill a Mockingbird" is very good. I picture Gregory Peck saying it in his strong, kind voice. I agree that it definitely would be better if people tried a little harder to understand those who suffer in the world. How is your student who has been so ill, suffered the loss of her mother, and had her house and car messed up from that powerful wind? My heart goes out to her. Also, how is Nicole doing, and her daughter? I sure hope the stroke she suffered left no permanent damage. I think I remember you also mentioning a possible brain tumor and brain lesions. I would love to hear an update on her. It was so sweet reading about Annarose. Such a beautiful name for a little girl. I hope she is doing well. Thank you for the "Rainbow" lyrics. I loved the thought that the person always had a rainbow over them, they just didn't realize it. It makes me think of the following Bible verse in "Song of Songs" for some reason. Song of Songs 2:4 (MEV) He brought me to the banquet house, and his banner over me was love. Thank you also for posting "Women I Love" which was written by your friend. It is lovely. I agree that God does gravitate us in certain directions. It was very kind of you to take the time to listen and try to help your former student. You might have made a big difference in his life by doing so. It's a great idea to copy the recipes you like on index cards. It has been very nice getting to know you better. I appreciate so much your kind, encouraging ways. God bless, Cheryl | |||
