Hi Jamie,

Thank you for posting the lyrics from Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Simon and Garfunkel. Although I was only about 10 when that song came out, I always liked it. (Ha ha, I guess I just needed to feel young today.) Reading the lyrics was so touching and encouraging.

Thank you also for updating us on the health status of both "Nicholes". They are both going through a difficult time and I will continue to pray for their complete healing.

I have enjoyed hearing how positive you are in going through this journey. Your attitude is refreshing, uplifting and very motivating. I appreciate how inspiring you are to me, Jamie. I know it brings hope for all, no matter where they are in their journey. After all, " Those who never gave up hope got well"! Thanks Mel!

It's is so true Jamie, we are changed by this disease but in a good way. All the changes, the sum of the parts, and the grace of our Lord are absolutely a blessing and do make us a different person. Everyone I have spoken to with M has always said that they now have a closer relationship with God. I feel the same way and if this were the only thing we received from carrying this cross, it would be enough. But I feel as you do, we become a better person in many, many ways.

Continue with your positive outlook, following the protocol and posting on the forum, and you will reach 100% in no time. It is very obvious that you have made tremendous strides in your healing in a relatively short period of time. (Mel may give you a nickname pretty soon!)

Keeping you and all of us going through M in my prayers daily. I look forward to complete healing for everyone!

Love and God Bless,

Donna (aka Sneakers)
