For sharing so openly with all of us. You write with the ability to express all the emotions involved with Morgellons, Lyme, etc. The pain, fear, loss, coping, humor and the strength that only comes from the Lord, TO OVERCOME!!
It is devastating to watch helplessly in the beginning, as our lives we once knew, are drastically torn apart, hijacked, in a moment. Yet, as I look back, the Lord has given each one of us His strength, His spirit of grace, to FIGHT! To be courageous in the battle, one day at a time! You express this well in your posts, Jamie!!
My heart aches for the difficult decision you have before you regarding retirement. I will be praying for you in that area specifically.
I have a dear sister in Christ who continually has reminded me what is said in Joel 2:23-27...
2:25 " So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten..." She likes to tell me that she is seeing evidence in my life of this restoration:)
