Hello, everyone!

Special thanks to Laura and Tracy for your kind posts!!!

I missed Sunday’s conference call because I have been in the middle of a pretty major herx for a good number of days—not sure how many exactly. I don’t think I’ve ever had one with quite so many wretched symptoms: whopping migraines, muscle cramping in my lower legs, fatigue, runny nose, extremely irritated eyes, severe stomach distress. Fun stuff. Mel told me that one of these days I will want to curse his name. I’m getting there! LOL! Just joking, Mel!

I still don’t have much of an update on my Nicholes. My current student Nichole has an appointment with a GI specialist on May 17th, and she won’t know anything until sometime after that. There also isn’t anything knew to report about my former student Nichole. I just keep praying that both of them are restored to health.

I just found out exactly what I will have to teach in my new course next year—some of which definitely is not related to my subject area, but none of it will be all that taxing. Here are the units:

(1) SAT Math Prep (good thing that I’m reasonably competent)

(2) SAT Reading & Writing Prep (easy street)

(3) the art of budgeting (looks pretty straight forward)

(4) personal financial planning (looks pretty straight forward)

(5) banking & credit (call in a former student!)

(6) public speaking (easy street)

I’m actually looking forward to this! It’s such a practical course.

Other than that, I don’t have anything new to report. I’m just plugging along, looking forward to the end of the school year.

I keep all of you in my daily thoughts and prayers, and I hope all of you have a great week!

Jamie
