IS THAT YOU JAMIE?
Hello, everyone.

Yesterday, as many of you know, I had a colonoscopy/endoscopy. I was diagnosed with gastritis (translation: that is a blanket term that isn’t specific at all!), but I am waiting on h-pylori results as well as biopsy results. My colon was normal, and I no longer have a blockage of any sort (the test prep took care of that!). I must say that the results could have been worse, but so far it doesn’t explain my digestive symptoms.

Mel and John B. are on it, though, and I trust both of them a heck of a lot more than I do any doctor, that is for sure!

When I got home yesterday, I was completely exhausted. After eating something (I had two days of prep, so I was literally starved!), I took a long nap. When I woke up, I went into the bathroom. My lower right leg suddenly buckled (I think I was pretty weak), and I twisted my ankle. Yesterday, it hurt pretty badly, but today it is much better. I only feel a tad bit of pain when I go up and down stairs. Probably a slight sprain.

I do feel much better today. I’m looking forward to forum calls this weekend, although my husband and I have to do a wee bit of running around this weekend. My husband’s kids are gone for the summer, so we are doing some work on the house. We are replacing both their beds (they are getting too big for the ones they have), and we are replacing the carpets in two of the upstairs rooms. We got rid of a bunch of stuff today—called a junk company to come haul it away. I also did a bunch of organizing in the kitchen and study. Little projects keep my mind occupied—Mel would agree that that is definitely a GOOD THING!!!

So that is the update.

I think about and pray for all of you!

Jamie
