Hello, everyone.
I thought I should post on my 54th birthday, July 4th. I’ve always liked my birthday—who wouldn’t? It’s Independence Day, and there are fireworks every single year! (It was a little disillusioning, when I was about five years old, when my parents had to break the news to me that the fireworks weren’t JUST for me!)
As many of you know, I have had significant abdominal distress lately. Two Sundays ago, I visited the ER, and this upcoming week, I will have an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I have received a lot of help and advice from people on the forum: Mel & John B. (of course!), Anna (who has been extraordinarily helpful on the diet front, even sending me a “tweaked” version of the forum diet to help with some of my issues), Karen, Donna, Cheryl, Chrissie, and Maria. I have genuinely appreciated all the support!
My husband and I are spending the day together to celebrate my birthday, and God blessed me with a beautiful, sunny day, and I’m feeling good enough to have taken a two-mile walk and to go out and about.
I look forward to the conference calls this weekend. I continue to keep all of you in my prayers, and I truly celebrate when any of you has forward progress or good news.
