Hi Jamie
After 35 years of teaching, I can relate to your heartfelt words about public school...and the atmosphere appears to be getting worse. The last 12 years of my school days were spent in Christian education and it was the complete opposite. This year we are hosting a senior from Mexico who attends that same Christian school and opening day was as you would have desired - upbeat, balloons, glow sticks, encouraging speakers, and even food available outside.

With the onset of Morgellons and my mother's illness, I went parttime, then finally retired. However, because of my desire to love on kids and see their successes, I opened a homeschool. It has been a most rewarding venture, and I can continue to feed into the lives of children with a Christ-centered focus.

I will be praying for you this school year as you take it day by day. I know because of your heart and your values, you will make an enormous difference in the lives of those students you touch this year.

Blessings,
Micky
