Wow!

I have quite a few people to respond to!

First of all, Katharine.

I didn’t mean to neglect your post. I’m usually really good about posting responses quickly. Somehow, I missed getting back to you. I hope your recent trip went well and that you were able to stick to the protocol and to the diet.

Micky,

I think it is incredible that you run a home school! That, no doubt, allows you to do what you feel is right for children. Sometimes, in public schools, teachers have to do things they would not choose to do if left to make decisions themselves.

I’m glad you were able to spend your final years at a Christian school. That must have been a far more nurturing environment for children than the average public school today.

It’s nice to know that there are a good number of teachers on the forum who understand what I am talking about in some of my posts!

Karen,

I already responded to your post, but I want to say AMEN again!

Linda,

Thank you for your encouraging, uplifting words. Some day, once I retire, I will write a book of some sort. Maybe by then I will be well and can write a powerful memoir about my journey with Morgellons and Lyme. Hopefully, it will be a best seller, I will make millions, I can pay for Mel’s clinic, and I will purchase the protocol for all of you! :)

Terry,

Thank you as well for your encouraging, uplifting words. On Monday, the kiddos arrive at school. I’m sure God has sent some of his beloved cherubs my way who really need the type of teacher that I am.

And Cheryl.

You are always so sweet and kind to me, and you take the time to respond so thoroughly to posts. It made me feel good when you mentioned that my posts are sincere and inspiring. I always try to be honest in my posts and write about more than just my illness. After all, I am way more than this illness.

This upcoming week will, no doubt, pose some challenges. It’s always exhausting the first week back to school. I have to shift from “summer mode” to “school mode,” and sleep is the first thing to be impacted. I simply can’t sleep the same amount of hours anymore. However, I know that I have to take care of myself, and I will. I’ve gotten really good at managing my supplements at work. I’ve also gotten much better with managing meals during the school year. Hopefully, my new courses this fall will not be as difficult as I anticipate. If they are, I will just need to remind myself to take life one day at a time.

Tonight, I am going to see the movie “Overcomer.” It’s supposed to be very uplifting. I’ll send Mel the trailer...maybe he can post it.

I continue to pray for everyone on the forum. I hope everyone has a blessed weekend and upcoming week!

Jamie
