Hello, everyone.
Just a tragic side note about my first day of school.
A veteran science teacher at my school chose to resign after hearing the presentation by the union lawyer during the afternoon of our first day back. She just simply threw up her hands and said she was done.
That was really awful to hear. She was close to retirement but not quite ready to go. The presentation pushed her right over the edge.
Oh, my.
I am going to have to wear my “big girl pantys'” as Monica would say this year just to endure the administration and the broken aspects of public education.
Thank goodness that I really come to work for the kids.
