Thank you so much for dedicating “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” to us the other side of the pond you read it beautifully.
I also love the poem dedicated to Cheryl too, I have another bird story to tell doves this time not swans....
Today I have seen to doves perched/nesting at my new place of work I was so worried as one didn't seem to move and where they were was up in the rafters in a place that the doors are shut at night and worst still over the weekend, there were chaps working and they assured me that both doves flew out through the doors that morning so they are both well...phew
There was another pair nesting in the same sort of set up but with clear access to outside and one day I watch whilst the male took up bits and bobs for his partner, well all she kept doing was throwing them back out she was very picky on what she was going to bring her brood up on, they were just not the correct things for a perfect nest, he was so funny he was trying to take off with bits of wood twice the length of him...he had no chance of getting them accepted! Of course I tried to help him out with putting a few bits out that I thought would be appropriate but he thought not!...what can I say !....Men :)
