Thank you for your encouraging post...the timing was incredible!
I spoke a bit too soon about my weekend away. I’m home from work for the second day in a row because of it. I plan to return to work tomorrow, but I had a set back. My own fault. Should have stayed put. Live and learn. I will need to rethink Thanksgiving...probably won’t be able to go home now.
My manometry procedure has finally been scheduled for November 25th. UMass couldn’t get me in sooner. I have to be wide awake when they place a scope down my throat and then have me swallow water for about a half hour. Sounds like a fun fest. I’m waiting for John B. to recommend a doctor who does the LYNX procedure in Boston. My GI doctor is looking into trained doctors as well. I’m 99% sure the surgery has to take place.
I am doing my best to be a trooper. I continue to be concerned about my low weight, especially lately.
