JUST GET ON THE PROTOCOL AND BE PATIENT
Hello, everyone!

This morning, on my way to work, I said my prayers, as I always do.

I was always told to be specific with God. My Lyme doctor ran a whole battery of tests. I’ve done the first batch, and the results were due in at 10 am this morning. I asked God to bless the blood test results. He certainly did!!!

Although I still have miles ahead of me in my journey, I was literally stunned by my blood work. Since that time, I’ve told Mel and John B., and they were both encouraged by what they heard as well.

For the first time in the better part of a decade, I had blood results that were 100% in the NORMAL range. Check this out!

(1) All my thyroid levels—NORMAL! My TSH, which was once at 15, is now at 2.89!!!

(2) All my cortisol levels—NORMAL! I guess I should have decided to retire a lot earlier!

(3) My Vitamin D and B12 levels—NORMAL!

(4) My Zinc and Iodine levels—NORMAL!

(5) My basic blood work levels, like red & white blood cell counts, etc—NORMAL!

The only mildly disappointing level was my CD-57. It’s at 80. That test tends to fluctuate, though. It’s in the low normal range...but it’s still NORMAL!

God is the ultimate healer, but I certainly have to thank Mel and John B and everyone on the forum who has supported me over the past almost two years.

I had set a goal to be better by this May. Although I still think that is probably unlikely, you never know! Just moving in the right direction feels like a MAJOR victory right now!

For the first time in four years, I started working out again. I have been lifting weights at Planet Fitness (they have a 10-machine circuit), and I have also been using the rowing machine for 20 minutes. I wondered why, all of a sudden, I felt well enough to do that again. I guess I now know part of the answer...my body is slowly restoring itself! (I’d like it to stop doing so at a GLACIAL pace, but SLOW & STEADY seems to be the answer!

Never give up hope! NEVER!
