August’s Full Moon is called, 'the Sturgeon Moon,' and this year it reaches its fullest on Friday 28 August 2026.
The rather magnificent name comes from the, 'lake sturgeon,' a huge freshwater fish traditionally caught in large numbers around the Great Lakes during August. So while other months get glamorous names like Strawberry Moon and Flower Moon, August basically went: “Big fish. That’ll do,":-).
The Sturgeon Moon has other traditional names too, including the Grain Moon, Green Corn Moon and Red Moon, reflecting the harvest and late-summer changes happening at this time of year. And this year, the Moon is putting on an extra little performance: the August Full Moon coincides with a very deep partial lunar eclipse on 27–28 August. So, quite literally, the fish moon is bringing drama!
If you are thinking of using the split dosing approach for your WPS, for 3 days before and 3 days after the full moon peak, divide your WPS dose in thirds.
Irrespective of the amount of drops taken, take at 10.30 am, 3.30pm and at bedtime. Be precise with timing and allow 2 hours between WPS and other Protocol supplements. Return to regular dosing after the 6 day cycle of the full moon.
The parasitical component of our disease is often known to get worse during a full moon. Therefore, we target this, with our dosing regime at this time. Go back to normal dosing after the six day cycle of the full moon.
Best wishes, Chrissie |
