Hi All,

September’s Full Moon, the Harvest Moon, is on 26 September 2026. The name dates back centuries and refers to the bright moonlight that helped farmers continue harvesting after sunset, particularly at that very busy time of year when there was still plenty to do. Before electric lights and modern machinery, that extra moonlight was rather handy — nature’s way of saying, “Come on, you’ve still got work to do!”

For some people living with Lyme disease, Morgellons, autoimmune issues and other chronic conditions, full moons can often coincide with changes in symptoms, sleep, pain or general well-being. So if you feel a bit different and your symptoms get worse around the full moon, you’re certainly not alone.

The parasitical component of our disease is also often said to get worse during a full moon. This is why we use a split dose regime with WPS. For 3 days before and 3 days after the full moon peak divide your WPS dose in thirds. Take it at 10.30am, 3.30pm and bedtime. Allow 2 hours between WPS and other Protocol meds. Return to regular dosing after the 6 day cycle of the full moon.

Take care,
Chrissie
