I've been a hair girl my whole life - long, blonde, healthy, etc. Once this thing got into my scalp/follicles it didn't want to leave. I lost tons of hair - what was left looked like clown hair vs. real hair. I even had extensions put in to try to cover my thin patches. I finally decided to chop everything off. I now have a pixie do - I went from hair down to the middle of my back to nearly nothing. I can tell you that it's the best decision I made. I think long hair especially is a beacon for fibers and/or whatever M's is. Also, with longer hair it is nearly impossible for any scalp treatment to fully cover the scalp. I feel ugly and old with my short hair but I believe I have a chance at growing real hair once I get my internal protocol down. I guess what I am saying is if you have long hair consider a short do - others I know have tried totally shaving their head but then had to deal with the itching as it grew back. I already have itching and the pixie seemed to make enough of a difference I won't go the bald thing yet. I wish you the best of luck!!!! Keep us posted! |
