Tee: I agree with you. I'm just trying to look half human since I feel I'm about to turn a corner in the next two months and I need to look into getting a job. My hair is mostly gone and my skin is not at all what it used to be. I need to draw on some eyebrows like I used to do anyways, and find a suitable wig so I don't look too awkward. Of course under the wig I'd keep my mostly shaved head all coconut and essential oiled up all day, just so ya know Peter! I do focus on my wellness and topical more than anything, hence why I haven't worn makeup or looked into anything to do with my hair or wigs for the first few months of my protocol. I'm trying to find the best way to go about this while still being so strict on the treatments, but I need a job!
Wow! I checked out the site wellness mama, and it's great for us natural people who want to make our own cosmetics! Great for making our own sunscreen, deodorant, scented lotion, toothpaste, and some makeup! It suggests charcoal for eyeliner and mascara, not sure how I feel about that but I think it's better than what we buy in stores without any additives or chemicals. It'd be nice to find a makeup brand or some way to make my own liquid concealer or cover up with a decent amount of coverage. That was my main thing, even before I had M. I just really do need cover up and some eyeliner to look presentable, or else I just look run down and I do not look like a sane person without it.
I do want synthetic for now because they're a little bit cheaper, and I would like to be able to throw them out every few months as my healing goes on. Plus I'd like to buy two or three to change them frequently. I miss having my crazy green and orange hair, so of course I'm going to get an interesting synthetic wig that reminds me of that! And one that's semi normal looking. As my healing goes on for some reason, I feel the need to easily let go of those since I know I'll be kleen greening and tea treeing them like crazy and I don't believe that would be good for any wig. So the less money, the better. When I'm more healed I think I'm going to buy a human hair blonde wig and dye it to my preferred color of pink or green, or a combo of both!
Mmmm, gotta find makeup solutions bad though is my bottom line. I was a dancer before this, that's probably what I'll be going back to. Gotta stay on top of things!
Thanks for the tips though guys, you're the greatest! <33
