12/22/2015 2:53:07 AM | Just wanted to chime in on the hair topic -the soapberry get shampoo from Amazon sounds amazing - and also just a reminder that once u heal more inside the hair improves - and as John b has noted many times - hair health is related to thyroid health And thyroid health is related to ridding mycotoxins and improving body via detox and fortificwtiln, So yes - we need relief externally but keep thinking we get week from inside out! Rebuilding immunity! Anyhow - In this thread someone else. Noted the need to change up treatments and hair help products - which I also found was needed - Here's are different things I used: 1. Dr bronners peppermint soap - In hot shower and let it sit (great for skin too)- 2. Powdered bentonite clay mixed with vinegar! Hard I cover entire scalp but got easier - also - made it thinner at times and started using it on scalp and it was like a root lift product - lol - just could not wear it to work - vinegar smell - but this is amazing in skin too - clay is 5.99 for 16 oz - the clay sometimes had to be rinsed and reapplied every 4 to 6 hrs - ?? 3 Sonnes bentonite liquid clay in colloidal state (around 20 dollars) and the physical reaction with pathogens is unbeatable - surprised to not hear more use of this liquid clay -inside and out - but for hair and face and hands - a true order free gift! and side note - Great Plains brand is not the same as sonnes liquid clay. 4. Lemon juice - have to experiment with water ratio but lemon is our best friend - and then after that I would let dry and use coconut oil - or if a workday would sprinkle borax all over scalp - borax is really amazing with this ailment - which is next 5. Borax - I soaked in it in all ways possible and for the hair - well I applied it after a warm shower -let it sit as a barrier - this also works with pets - after their bath - let borax sit on their skin and dry naturally - borax is one of my top three must haves for this disease (besides the goodies in Mel's protocol stuff) 6. Once in a hydrogen Peroxide - just store grade - I noticed N used alcohol on her scalp and while I never tried - i did use peroxide and it is Great! I loved the natural highlights it gave my hair - seriously worked well with mine - but I did not. Care about any of that as healing and wellness was. Numero uno! One quick peroxide story - one day the symptoms were gong crazy - back of neck - base of hairline - scalp - horrid - drove home jumped in shower and used peroxide all over head and shoulders and had instant relief for days - well I still used "DE" on scalp afterwards and the clay mix because peroxide leaves the scalp very vulnerable - so the clay mix kept it covered well - and think neem and olive oil was what I used on skin that month and would sometimes massage into scalp.. Always changed things up- Note on combs and brushes - I only used wide tooth combs and must sanitize after use - I used the alcohol spray mist - of store bought bleach bathroom spray (or mms) but toss brushes - and use combs and have a few. - i also kept hair very short for management and this saved me effort- it was easy to reach scalp and It is smart to do - I ended up with a few really fun hair dos - I also carried stuff with me to apply on scalp - like baggie of Borax - or some of the clay paste. I would spot treat the areas on drive home or even at work. Helped so much - Best wishes |
