Just thought I would give an update on what is happening in my journey. Have been on the protocol for 7 months now, nearly 8, and am holding steady at 14 drops a day, per Mel's encouragement that this should suffice. Just for the record, I am 6 feet and 150 pounds..my weight seems to have stabliized at this now, which is a good weight for me--what I used to weigh. My body seems to tolerate the 14 drops without any trouble..occasionally, I feel a tad nauseous after drinking the MMS, but nothing that lasts. My body is continuing to purge--slowly. Every day, little white 'specks' jump ship...often, I find them half-way exited from my skin, and a light touch will bring them out entirely. Important to never ever pick at them, though. Mostly, I do not feel them leaving, but sometimes there will be a prick, sometimes mild, sometimes sharp. Drinking lots of water and peppermint tea to keep my skin moist. Progress is being made--not nearly as quickly as I want it to, but yes, indeed, I am getting there. Itchiness still a factor in my old hot spots of left eyebrow and left upper shoulder blade..but when I drink my trusty lemon juice, or lemon juice with water and a dash of stevia, that stops it. I am spending more time taking care of myself than I ever have. I am learning how to meditate and really de-stress (as much as one can with M!). I've cut back on my work schedule to do this..this is painful financially, but i know nothing--NOTHING--is more important than getting well. So, yes, credit cards do come in handy, much as I hate to use them. My biggest challenge is getting enough to eat--I am a tall girl, with a a huge appetite, and a fast metabolism, and have always been a 'big' eater all my life. I've started munching on Brazil nuts and pecans..I find the brazil nuts very satiating to my hunger, just have to keep then separate from when I take MMS. And keep track of the portions and carbs. Karen is a veritable miracle-worker when it comes to crafting recipes! I am excited to try more of these out. Slowly, my anxiety seems to be abating, as the days pass. Brain fog is definitely improving..still not there 100%, but so much better, when I could barely recall anything as soon as I said it. Truly, it is a wonderful, wonderful thing to see barely any black specs in my house...it is a rarity to find one. I have a dog, a cat and two kids. I treat the pets' water bowl every day with MMS--one drop. My girls are taking the colostrum, for a period, then candida-rid pills, per Mel's suggestion. I also use MMS in a spray bottle, mixed with water, to clean my house. It is cheaper than Kleen Green, and works very well. No issues with stained countertops or anything. My husband seems completely fine (he was raised in the 3rd world, on healthy, natural farm-fresh food, his immunity to almost everything is amazing). Everyone in the house, including the critters, are looking well, and feeling well, thank you Lord. That was my biggest fear (along with leaving this life before my work is done). Connecting with Jamie has been a God-send. It is a huge comfort to talk to another warrior--I feel so much less alone. Thank you Jamie for being there for me! I feel very blessed to be part of this warm genuinely kind community. Every day I pray for all of you to heal, and as quickly as possible. I know there is a lesson or two in all of this for me...it will take me a good while, no doubt, to process all of this.. but one thing I know for certain, is that this is a temporary condition. This, too, shall pass. With God's help, dedication to the diet and protocol, love and support from my husband and girls, this amazing community, and Mel's hockey stick, I will one day do the happy dance!
