I think you MUST be experiencing Custer’s Last Stand...I am so thrilled for you, despite how scary and miserable it has been, especially the one night you described!
Yes, Mel has watched countless people go through this process, and he knows what happens in the end. You’ve been through so much—and so has your family—it’s just got to be almost over for you!
I’m hoping that one of these days that I will be there, too...after all, Massachusetts gals do rock!
I remember when your daughter got sick. It was an awful time for you. My husband is sick, now, and we are waiting for blood work that my Lyme doctor had him do to confirm that he has both Lyme & MD. I had both before I even met him (but didn’t know it at the time), and we were already engaged when I was in the middle of the initial stages of the storm: it was definitely NOT the best way to begin a marriage, that’s for sure. I feel so badly about it all, but I just have to trust that GOD HAS IT.
I’m so proud of you for never giving up, and you have always been there for me in my darkest hours. You are a dear friend, and I just know that some day we will meet—both healthy and happy!
