6/24/2021 11:16:29 AM | It's been said that knowledge is power. If you don't believe it, then think back to when you first started noticing symptoms and recall your desperate plea to the medical community to help you. Joe said it best...(I'm summarizing with my words)...half the medical community thinks you're crazy and the rest of them just don't have a clue what to do. I encountered both in my journey to deal with this nightmare. Due diligence here...I went to my primary care physician and did everything she told me to (you know...the topical stuff, etc.)...then she sent me to an infectious disease doctor who insulted me by patronizing me and "handling" me by telling me she knew I "believed" it was real...but...here's a referral to a psychiatrist (plus I wrote her a check for $160 for this complete waste of time with a side of insult). I went to the psychiatrist and stupidly attempted to tell him what I was actually experiencing...and he wanted to put me on some really strong psychotropic meds and got mad at me when I googled same on my phone during the consult which I did to find out about side effects so I could ask him about them. It obviously made him angry and he responded very condescendingly and told me to get off my phone. Then I wrote him a check too. I guess I forgot that it was all about him and his ego and beliefs and monetary goals. If I got any help in the process that would just be a bonus...and shame on me if I caused him any cognitive dissonance by asking him to consider something that was outside his belief box. Please forgive me...I'm not usually a bitter person...but in my opinion, this is the worst kind of abuse. We seek and sought help from the medical community...and not only did we not get the help, we got insulted in the process and then charged for it! Then there was the desperate Google dive and racking up thousands on my credit cards to attempt to get well. This is not counting the thousands I spent desperately throwing things away in my house (and then replacing them...furniture...upholstered pieces...clothes...linens...etc.) and then hiring a company to come out and seal every single hole and vent in my vintage frame house (no small feat) for the startling price of $6000 plus dollars. I made myself sicker by using strong chemicals and fungicides and even bathing in very strong pool shock. I'm surprised I'm still here to tell about all of this. Let's not forget about my very expensive Rife machine and pricy DNA chip...and...two or three kinds of zappers I'd ordered off of ebay. Those are just the tip of the iceberg on the money blood-letting experience I went through before I found Mel. I went through my entire savings...drained out my retirement investments...piled up a lot of debt...and was still very sick. I often think about where I'd be if Mel hadn't decided to do what he does every day to help all of us. I have no idea how he figured all of this out with John B. on the phone. I'd have been scared to death...but he did it...and if you're new and reading this, the bottom line is...it's a complex path to wellness and it's not easy...but it CAN be done. You can get a lot from reading the site and participating / listening to the conference calls...but nothing takes the place of coaching. Yes Joe...Mel's prices are bargain rate when you consider what you get for the money. His time and expertise are an unusual mix of experience and study that no one else has as far as I can tell. Mel's actually had this disease...and he got rid of it by the most valiant and fearless effort imaginable. And it worked. Mel could charge a lot more for this kind of help...but he doesn't because of his promise to God...and thank God for that. Mel puts in countless hours per week on this endeavor...on his site and in his support of our community. He's able to do so because of his extreme frugality but it does take money to live for all of us. His prices are rock bottom...but he deserves that and more. Having enough money to make ends meet while serving us is what keeps him doing what he's doing...it's what keeps him here for all of US. If not for Mel, I'd have had to retire early and lose everything. I'd probably have lost my home...be living in a travel trailer barely keeping body and soul together and getting sicker and sicker...because I wouldn't have known what to DO. Instead I'm vibrantly living my life in my pleasant home...still working at 65 and plan to continue to do so until I financially recover from the money hit I took to the solar plexus before I found Mel. And again...knowledge is power...and Mel is a wealth of knowledge. Because of this, there is no doubt that coaching can be the biggest game changer in this journey...so...do yourself a favor and book some time with Mel today. Love, Karen | ||||||
