I'd like to express some of my thoughts on why coaching is a MUST. First, as I stated previously, Mel has been through all of this himself. He knows what we're feeling, what stage we're in and can offer the best advice not just health wise, but emotionally as well. Let's face it, this disease is not easy and we all feel down or defeated at times. I always feel much better after speaking with Mel and it is well worth the small cost. Secondly, as a newbie you want to make sure you're on the right path to healing. How can we do that on our own? This is a complicated disease and guidance is a must. Perhaps we're not following the protocol correctly (even when we think we are), which happened to me in the beginning. If I wasn't able to speak to Mel, I would've never known that I was going in the wrong direction. It's good to be able to go over things with Mel to make sure we're doing everything we should. We already have so much on our plates in life (work, family, etc), it's great to be able to rely on someone else throughout this hard process. Next, the truth is, we all need that extra "push" at times - someone to help us with our motivation and accountability. Having Mel as a coach helps us with a particularly important step: It helps us move closer to what we love - life and us getting our health back! As we strive to get our health back, it's very important to continue learning about this disease and protocol. Coaching is the main way to gain this knowledge. Mel brings to the table the knowledge that we just don't have right now. I have to say that coaching has been money well spent for me and I have no regrets. I want us all to get well and coaching is the first step in doing so! God Bless! Brian | ||||||
