Greetings to each of you in the Community!
Really quite amazing that a person from yet another country has visited the website beginning yesterday (Nov. 8, 2020). It is the Republic of Armenia. We extend a very gracious and warm welcome to the country of Armenia.
Armenia lies just south of the great mountain range of the Caucasus . To the north and east Armenia is bounded by Georgia and Azerbaijan, while its neighbors to the southeast and west are, respectively, Iran and Turkey.
You may have been hearing in the news that there has been conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. It is a complicated situation with many years of history. The GOOD NEWS is that earlier today (November 9, 2020) a cease fire was announced. As part of the agreement, nearly 2,000 Russian peacekeepers will be stationed in the conflict areas. Past cease fires have not held, but there is hope for this one. Please be in prayer for this challenging situation. May God give wisdom and insight to the leaders involved.
