Dear Friends,
Just a couple days ago another new country visited the website. It is Azerbaijan. It is the 85th country since August of 2019. The U.N. counts 170 countries in the word. This means that someone from half of the countries of the world have found this website, and likely are suffering from M.D.
Even though we can't know the people, still we need to pray for these dear ones because we know the challenges and difficulties they face!
Azerbaijan is located on the west side of the Caspian sea, at the crossroads between Asia and Europe. the countries of Armenia and Turkey lie to the west, and Iran to the south. "In addition to its variegated and often beautiful terrain, Azerbaijan offers a blend of traditions and modern development. The people of its remoter areas retain many distinctive folk traditions, but the lives of its inhabitants have been much influenced by accelerating modernization, characterized by industrialization, the development of power resources, and the growth of the cities, in which more than half the people now live.
Industry dominates the economy, and more-diversified pursuits have supplemented the exploitation of oil, of which Azerbaijan was the world’s leading producer at the beginning of the 20th century. Fine horses and caviar continue as some of the more distinctive traditional exports of the republic."
