Wonderful!

People from another new country have visited the website! We say "Bienvenido" to Educador! We are are happy to have you come to this site. We hope you find very helpful information here.

As in the previous post about countries from Asia, let's learn about the languages spoken in Ecuador. "Spanish is Ecuador’s official language of business and government, although there are dialectal differences between Sierra and Costa Spanish; Sierra Spanish has been influenced by Quichua. Quichua and Shuar (both of which are official intercultural languages) as well as other ancestral languages are spoken by the country’s indigenous people. More than 10 indigenous languages exist in Ecuador, and several of these will likely persist as mother tongues. Most indigenous males are bilingual, and women are increasingly becoming bilingual as well." (Sources: Britannica.com. "Ecuador")

Let us be in prayer for the new visitors from Ecuador. Again, we warmly welcome them.
