On Thursday 27th August we had several people from a new country join to read our website! Welcome in people of Andorra! We are sad that your health is compromised, but will do all we can to help you!
This is an excellent website for anyone from absolutely anywhere to join and get Support, Knowledge and Help in their Healing journey.
So here is a little bit of information on Andorra.
Andorra is a tiny, landlocked country tucked into the Pyrenees between France and Spain, with a history dating back centuries. Its unusual political system began in 1278, when the Bishop of Urgell and the Count of Foix agreed to share sovereignty — an arrangement that eventually resulted in Andorra having two heads of state: the Bishop of Urgell and the President of France! For much of its history Andorra was a quiet, rural mountain society, but tourism, skiing, shopping and banking transformed it during the 20th century.
In 1993 Andorra adopted a modern democratic constitution and became a member of the UN. Today, Andorra is a prosperous little parliamentary democracy of around 80,000 people, officially Catalan-speaking and using the euro — essentially a country that somehow managed to squeeze itself between two giant countries and say, “No thanks, we’ll do our own thing,” :-).
