My adorable puppy is a Springer, too!!! His name is Potus, and that is why I am here. Holly, please help us. Potus does not want to eat it drink anymore. My last dog died from this, and I really, really need to save Potus.
He only wants to eat dark meat roasted or fried chicken, if I’m lucky. If he eats anything, he will eats the crispy skin, which everyone knows is terribly unhealthy, but it’s the only thing he eats sometimes.
I have tried so many different foods. He will sometimes take canned fish, the smellier the better. He will mainly only eat out of my hand, and only a few bites.
He has the fibers/worms all over his poopies. It’s pretty gross. I am guessing these worms are traveling into his throat and causing him nausea and also to gag.
He doesn’t drink very much, so I’ve had him taken already 3 x to get subcutaneous fluids (fluids injected under the skin).
What else can I do? Please help, anyone!
