I purchased an Infrared sauna on craigslist for a very reasonable price and put it in my bedroom in a small townhouse. It took up some space but I used it almost daily and it worked just great in getting toxins out of the body.
I know that you can pay some spas for use of their infrared saunas but that can be expensive. If you go on craigslist you will find all sorts of different type saunas. I had the cedar style with a glass door and it was hardly used by the couple that owned it so I bought it for $400, used it for almost two years and then sold it for $500 (just happened to find a person who really wanted a sauna). I moved across country and it would have cost me too much money to have it shipped so I had to sell it.
If you were to price a new one, a good quality sauna will run about $1500 to $2000. For the basic 4 x 4' sauna, all the manufacturers will call it a two seater, but in reality only one person can sit inside comfortably.
Instead of going over all the benefits of using an infrared sauna I would suggest you just google infrared saunas and you will get a complete education on saunas, but you just want to go with an infrared sauna. You will also find some pretty good videos on You Tube that will let you know the differences in saunas, like what are the benefits of an infrared versus a steam sauna.
If you do look on craigslist and don't find one, just keep on looking every few weeks and then you will eventually come across one that you can purchase. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.
