Hi Erica

Thank you! There is much joy in knowing this thread is useful to you.

It was actually inspired by Mel. He sowed the seed of encouragement and initiative that led to me creating it. We try to periodically move it on top in the forum to help those that are just beginning their journey back.

Here is a new addition with a little more insight.

Realize, and accept, that the only way out of Morgellons is "through it." If you become intimately connected to your disease, you will become clear about what to do, and much more. This can become a great teacher. As a matter of fact, the persistent, ongoing infection in my right forearm clearly is the vehicle God is using to keep teaching me about this disease and, about myself.

Today, I am focused on asking deeper questions about connecting foods and nutrients to digestion. Questions like; for eye support, “what will happen if I combine organic kefir with organic carrot juice?” Look closely at this question. The probiotics in the Kefir is the key. Could they infuse digestion to better deliver the vitamin A and lutein in the carrot juice to the eye? I can only speculate, but I believe there is potential in thinking this way. In this example, perhaps to prevent eye issues with floaters and such. I wrote about this, calling it a “force magnifier,” in an old post.

Looking creatively then, to match and introduce like foods with protocol nutrients, is just one way to make connections. There is a whole world of individual discovery for you once you engage healthy curiosity. This is how you intimately connect with our disease, and why Mel calls recovery a journey. It is also how you lose the fear.

Replace your fear with curiosity and see where it leads. Experimenting with appropriate food combinations is generally safe. The results might both surprise and encourage.

Stay the course! You will get well. Believe it.
