I am loving all these funny pictures, captions and cartoons Mel is creatively putting on the site!
I agree with Karen that the little thanksgiving Turkey with Mels wee face was priceless, ha ha.
And this latest one with, 'Melvis!,' well I confess at first I thought it was a typing error... Doh, just blame it on brain fog! Until I looked again and saw yet again Mels wee face peering out from his wondrous bejewelled costume! They all make me smile and are funny, thank you Mel.Its really nice that you go that extra mile to put up these pictures and make people smile. We are often feeling grim when faced with all the symptoms and frustrations of this illness. A bit of fun, of silliness and humor is MUCH NEEDED in our lives!!! It really is!
It reminds me of in China and Japan where serious, stressed, overworked business men meet up for a, 'laughter group.' Well, they all sit around in a circle and deliberately laugh a huge. Big, hearty belly laugh :-) At first they put it on, but then it becomes natural as the healing endorphin's flood their bodies and relax them. Afterwards, they feel less stressed, less tired, invigorated just because of this laughter. It's a bizarre thing that they do in one way, but in another makes perfect sense and so much better than popping pills!
So, all these quirky, funny little pictures Mel puts up for us, are a reminder for us, that no matter how difficult this journey is at times, we HAVE to take time out, breathe, relax and smile!
Thank you Mel for this reminder and for all the effort you make for all of us.
God bless, Chrissie |
