Dear HCA Foundation Advocates,
I hope this finds you and all yours safe and well. As we look back on what has been a truly extraordinary year, all of your efforts here were dominated by three themes in 2020:
1. Challenges – contending with the stiff headwinds of this protocol, everyone has shown a heart compelled to come up with fundraising efforts to continue to pursue this amazing mission.
2. Accomplishments – Despite the challenges, so many of you regularly represent how the HCA Foundation “has figured out how to accomplish the gift of sponsorship to those recipients who would suffer deeply without it.” With limited staffing, and despite sometimes insurmountable challenges, Mel and the HCA Foundation has still made a life giving difference for so many.
3. Gratitude – this community has demonstrated a great deal of gratitude for all its supporters who have made the gift possible during these challenging times.
I’d like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the testimonies here of those who are so grateful. They ensure continued support for those in need who remain on the journey back to health. They also encourage a position to serve others moving forward. “May God continue to bless more low-income members of this community with the gift of sponsorship!”
“Here’s hoping you have health and happiness in 2021!”
