I dearly hope that everyone had a peaceful Christmas and New year!!! I want to talk about how things are evolving in our community! How with our free Saturday conference call and prayer call on a Sunday, Mel has introduced new things to encourage, cheer, bring laughter and also bring hope. The regular competitions that Mel has brought into the calls in the last year, have been just splendid in a number of ways!!! The themes are inventive and encourage so much participation and creativity in our members!!! In this way people who at times are really struggling with toxic disease, can put it aside for a while and find ways to have a bit of fun with others in our community. The poems and songs and videos and stories that people contribute.... well, the calibre has been going from strength to strength. The quality of the entries OFTEN astounds me!!!!! I'm proud of my fellow community members, they work hard to produce excellent entries and we also have lots of fun in the process of doing so :-). It's a win win situation!!!! And let me tell you, we all need that sense of fun to offset the other things that we all deal with in our day to day life!!!!!Oh boy, we sure do!! You know, some newbies join our calls and are a bit confused to hear community members who suffer toxic disease laughing and joking. They wonder how on earth we can laugh, when we suffer this. But it is PRECISELY BECAUSE we are unwell that we have to laugh and joke, have a break, boost our immunities and feel like our old selves again!! The immune system needs a bit of cheer to help kick it into action! Recently, I won a contest and there was even a cash prize of 100 dollars which was just great!!!! It is exciting to win too. It could not have come at a better time as I was just about to move home hundreds of miles away , so I was very grateful indeed!!! But it was also fun. These contests would not be possible if they weren't helped to be funded by the HCAF. It is sooo important to encourage participation and raise people's self esteem, feelings of well being and encourage connection within the group. These competitions do all of that. The HCAF's main job is to help those who cannot afford to pay for the protocol to get it. The recipients pay a donation monthly and in turn are active community members. We do our best to pay it back in terms of helping, encouraging and supporting others. Again fostering connection and good community spirit. I have heard that a new person will be a lucky recipient of the HCAF at the beginning of March. This person will be an active member of the community who needs help to get the protocol. It is great news when someone new is taken on and benefits from this wonderful opportunity to help regain their health. There is NO BETTER GIFT THAN THE GIFT OF HEALTH!!!! We all know that so very much!!!! Health means EVERYTHING!!!! So, I want to say a huge, enormous THANK YOU to all you lovely people who contribute to the HCAF!!! You know who you are........... so take a bow!!!! :-). And I'd like to say that if anyone is thinking of contributing to the HCAF, please do. It does not matter how little the amount is. It is all gratefully received and brings a BIG SMILE to the lips of the recipients who rely on it to help them to get better. Thank you all and God Bless, Chrissie | ||||||
