Mel wanted me to make a post to all of you about the film “The Overcomer.” It is in theaters now. It is one of the Kendrick Brothers’ movies. They make truly phenomenal Christian-based movies, and this is their latest. You can watch the trailer and get a brief glimpse as to the movie’s content.
The young lady in the film is a true warrior. Their wasn’t a dry eye in the theater by the end of the film. It’s definitely a “feel good” movie, and it reminded me that regardless of the obstacles that Morgellons and Lyme disease throw in my path, I just have to keep going. I HAVE TO WIN THE RACE!!!
I believe that the secret to the success of the Kendrick brothers’ films is that these directors REFUSE to succumb to the darkness that is pervasive in the American film industry. People need hope in this crazy world, and their films provide that.
