You're going to be such a great addition to our community! I'd love to respond to your post in detail, but I'm slammed today...lots on the docket and the time limit is compressed. But...ok...my "short" response...sometimes I number things in an attempt to be more concise (it doesn't always work...so...do know my posts can get long...but I like reading long posts myself, so hopefully, others might as well). Anyway...here are just a few thoughts in response: 1. You're in the right place. It's time plus effort plus consistency equals success. Your experience with workouts shows you know how to put those things into practice. 2. You understand there's a learning curve and are willing to put forth the effort...that will add up to success for you...yea!!! 3. You understand the importance of community and are ready to jump in and become a part of it...and again...that will lead to your success. 4. And this one is random...I'd love to hear more about your experience with kundalini yoga...I've read a lot about it and understand the results can have powerfully effective benefits in many ways. Is it hard to do? How did you learn to do it? I think there are some Youtube videos on how to...do you think those are any good? 5. My doctor told me I wasn't contagious, and I've had M since 2015, and have found that to be true. No one has "caught" anything from me, and I'm heavily involved with people every day...at work...etc., and have had no problems. Obviously you'll want to use precautions like staying uber clean and wiping the equipment where you've touched it in the gym...just to be on the safe side. Just carry a towel and some Kleen Green spray with you. The other members of the gym will just think you're being really polite and considerate...and...that's what you'd be. I'm not sure about the swimming pool though...I haven't been swimming in years. Maybe someone else can chime in on that. Well...that post wasn't short...good thing I can type like the wind...I'd better get up and start working through my to do list. Looking forward to you joining the conference calls. I won't be at either one this weekend...I have a guy coming over to work on the house on Saturday and some family things on Sunday...but I'll be back after that. I'm usually at all the conference calls...they help so much. Love, Karen | |||
