GET PAST THE FEAR, CAUSE IT'S ALL HERE, TO HELP YOU RESTORE YOUR HEALTH!
Timothy,

I’m probably a pretty good person to respond to your two recent posts because I, too, genuinely battle the fear and anxiety that comes with this disease. Granted, I am definitely not in the same place that I was three years ago when I knew that I was in big trouble with this illness, but I still have days when my emotions get the best of me. I’ve spent most of this summer working very hard to find solutions for dealing with negative emotions. I’ve fortunately made a lot of progress on that front.

It is critical to reign in those emotions in whatever way you can. I want to share some of what has helped me. These are in no particular order.

(1) I now take CBD oil for anxiety. It definitely takes the edge off whenever I wake up and feel anxious for no specific reason—or for a reason that is really concrete.

(2) I go to God. I pray. I listen to the Bible. I absolutely, 100% know that God has gotten me through this. He is by our sides all the time, even when we want to think otherwise.

(3) I walk. I find that exercise tends to break the anxiety cycle. I miss being able to run, which I did for many years because it always cleared my mind.

(4) I try to turn negative remarks and thoughts into positive ones. It’s hard to do sometimes, but I think it actually does help to consciously do that.

(5) I do things to make me feel better about myself. I’ll do some form of self-care, like take a relaxing bath. I’ll sit with my cat and listen to her purr. Sometimes, it’s the really simple acts that make a difference.

(6) I call Mel or Karen or Donna or Maria or Anna or Cheryl. They make me feel better instantly. Don’t hesitate to call Chrissie (if I recall, Mel linked you up with her) and anyone else with whom you happen to connect. We all have a responsibility to pay it forward, to help others who are in the early phases of recovery and genuinely need sometimes daily support.

(7) I sleep. Sleep is so incredibly restorative, and it gives your mind a break.

(8) I eat properly. It has been an amazing food journey for me. I know so much more about how certain foods impact my body because I, like you, have SO many food sensitivities. I’ve had to eliminate all of the following: gluten, dairy, soy, corn, alcohol, sugar...and the list goes on an on. I don’t have a gall bladder, and I have celiac disease...both create unique eating and digestive challenges. Even as a child, SO many foods didn’t settle well with me. I’ve had to accept that my diet will likely be pretty limited the rest of my life, but that’s ok if it means that I am healthy.

(9) I come to as many calls as possible. I find them both informative and healing. I actually feel awful when I have to miss a call! I even called in while I was on vacation!

I remember how absolutely terrified I was when I was at your stage in the illness. I absolutely understand the level of suffering that you feel. We all do. That is one of the countless amazing things about this forum: we have all been there. Trust in the process. If you do, some day you will look back and be able to read your early posts and see how far you have come. When I first began to take the protocol, I had a hard time trusting that it would work. It does. It is a slow and steady process, and you must not give up, Timothy.

I heard your concern about the expense. Unfortunately, no one really has much of a choice. If you are struggling with the financial aspect of the protocol, speak to Mel. It may help to know that it typically takes quite a while, many months, to get through even one order of WPS. You start out with really minimal drops. It also takes longer than one month to typically get through a bottle of Sovereign Silver. Most of us have found ways to cut our grocery bills, too.

You are in the right place. I honestly believe that God has led all of us to this place. I know I will never be able to repay Mel for all that he has done for me. He is so selfless and genuinely cares about each and every person on the forum. I believe that with all of my heart. If I won the lottery, I’d give the entire amount to Mel. And that wouldn’t be enough repayment!
