I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of the toenail. My first thought was, “My, that is odd because the Thymic Formula in the protocol typically strengthens nails, at least that has been my experience.
And then, all of a sudden, I heard a voice in my head that said, “Fungus.” I’ve known a few people in my lifetime who have had that happen, and I know it is a possible risk when a person gets a manicure or pedicure: that person can develop a fungal infection. Mel would certainly know better than I would, but since there is a fungal component to the disease, it seems to make sense to me.
This disease throws a lot of curves balls your way: I am a case study in that. I’ve really struggled and still do. I feel confident, however, that one day my day will come.
It is easy to feel “out of one’s depth,” to quote you. I feel that way almost daily!
