Dear Chrissie & Holly,
I was so sorry to hear about Holly. I am praying for her and for you Chrissie. You are a bright spot in this community and we all miss you when your gone!! Me, especially!! Big Hug, you two!
You would think that after the "torture tratment" a dog would feel good like we do after a bath or wash and haircut! But, not always so.....!!
We had a half Papillion & half Chihuahua mix named "Pikachu", who hated his baths. I would literally have to sneak the supplies and towel to the kitchen counter by the sink because if he saw a towel or the bottles he would run and hide under the bed where I couldn't reach him. If I was folding towels from the laundry, he would run and hide!!
I never understood why he hated baths so.....I was always so gentle! Then the first time outside after the bath, he would head to the flower beds, front or back yard and roll in the dirt!! He was our joy, but could be a little stinker at times!!
WE, loved him dearly, he was so cute and we all, the whole family, cried when he passed!! It is hard when you have a dog from a puppy to old age. He was a member of our family, and sorely missed!!
I commiserate with Holly and hope she is feeling better soon! I will be praying for you both!
