I also hear that his success has been limited. I found him to be someone who was motivated by money more than anything else and because I have none, he would not begin treatment for me and also refused to see my 3 year old, who also has the illness. He did tell me that, if he treated me then I had to agree to use only his protocol, which does not incorporate Mel's. My own experience is that on Mel's protocol I felt so much better and my 3 yr old was rid of his symptoms. I am awaiting a new shipment and since I've been off the protocol have got much worse, as has my little boy. I have tried just about all medical ways to address my symptoms with, to date, no success. As Mel has mentioned, I do have very complicated and chronic health issues and I see my GP on a fortnightly basis. He knows what I take on Mel's protocol. I am committed to Mel's protocol 100% and decided quite a while ago that I would not go back to see Dr Mayne again. The only antibiotic I take now is Bactrim.
