As you can see, you are not alone.
I moved your post into a thread that I felt would most benefit you since you are in Australia. I have already sent both Sonja and Teresa your email address in hopes that they would contact you to share their experiences and help address your questions and calm your fears.
I noticed that Sonja has already responded in this thread, so you are in good hands. I imagine Teresa will be along any time now. As Sonja mentioned, she is already having good success with the protocol for her child... as have many other parents in regards to their children.
John B will likely have some thoughts to offer as well.
