Do you have other symptoms ... stinging, biting, pinching sensations, itching, rashes, lesions?
Everyone seems to have an array of symptoms and sometimes the beginning of Morgellons starts out differently, as we are all different..
Like I said most of us have a hard time getting a Dr. to stand beside us through this healing process...
If you have a Dr. that really knows you and knows your not delusional, and would not jump to this conclusion, maybe they could work with you as far as monitoring your progress, on the diet and protocol, but that may not be easy... MD's typically don't embrace anything outside the box... Although Mel had his Dr. stand beside him through his healing process.... So it is possible, but still yet you have to do the work in advocating your health, with diet& protocol.
My suggestion for you Jess would be to immediately start a very strict anti-candida diet! & really consider the protocol! Fibers are defiantly a sign of Morgellons but usually there are a number of other symptoms that follow too..
Don't panic, educate & empower yourself!
If it is Morgellons ... the battle can be won! So don't read all they scary, negative stuff out there...
I think to myself Mel has won the battle, I can too....
We all can w/ determination & commitment!
