I'm here in Australia too and if you'd like to email me directly please ask Mel for my email address. I remember what it is like, first finding out about this disease - I know I felt shocked, scared and very alone. It is even harder here in Australia as very few GPs acknowledge Lyme disease, let along Morgellons. If you did see a doctor he or she would probably prescribe a whole lot of antibiotics (that's what originally happened to me). My healing didn't begin until I got off the antibiotics, began on Mel's protocol and took a very long hard look at my lifestyle and diet.
You will find a wealth of knowledge, information, advice and support on this website. I have felt very humbled by the people who have supported me and helped me in my healing journey. I'm not quite there yet, but I've come a LONG way in healing. I also found it very helpful to refer to some of the weekly posting threads here - like Peter's (How lucky can you get) and Monica (Living with this for a few months). It helped to know that what I was experiencing was 'par for the course'. It was also good to know that others had had similar problems and were now so much better.
