Hello to all...!

I just wanted to post some news that I got today. I finally found a doctor who is supportive to M. She is a Lyme literate doctor and has been dealing with many Lyme patients here in Sydney but I am her first M patient (although since I contacted her nearly 3 month ago, she has another case).

My test results came in and I have just tested positive for Borrelia (Lyme, plus a co-infection) which is actually pretty good news because up until now, I didn't have any "official" diagnosis at all so I was not getting any medical support, nor could I get government support for sickness if I should need it. I mean, I know what I have (M), but without this diagnosis of Lyme I was DOP to doctors only!

The latest research on the M & Lyme link (here) is that the skin samples have been known to contain the borrelia bacteria too so this is my next step. Timing isn't great for the skin samples as this week my lesions started to go to a new level of healing so I'm not sure how "active" they will be come time to do the test. I need to stop most of the protocol (anything antifungal or anti-microbial) for at least the next 3 weeks so I will really need to ensure the diet is on track to make up for it. Fingers crossed it is enough to keep me stable!

Physically, I am feeling quite well apart from muscoloskeletal issues & some chronic fatigue but all in all, pretty good.

Big thanks to Mel for calling me for our first chat last week and offering your words of encouragement. I hope all is well with you.

And lastly, I want to make a shout out to Sonja as Mel has mentioned you and I have read much about your story through the forum posts and I was wondering how you were going these days. It would be great to connect if you have time.

In love & light....
