Welcome to our online community and please understand that you are not alone. I too, have shared life-threatening health issues, including a heart attack about 4 years ago, which were exacerbated by this condition.
It is important for you to start by making little changes as you can. Get rid of the mould. Make better choices in your diet. Clean and wash as you can. It is so hard when we are very sick to do these things, but it is important to start changing the self-talk and become a fighter instead of a victim. Not saying that you are a 'victim', though. I remember what it was like for me - I felt a lot of fear and anger and they aren't helpful.
It is much harder here in Australia to get any acknowledgement of this disease. There are a few doctors - it depends where you live. You are welcome to ask Mel for my email address.
Please try not to worry too much about your daughter - she will be fine. I too have a child who suffers with this disease and he has improved so much. Children are strong and resilient. If you haven't already checked it out, go to the 'children and morgellons' forum thread. There's lots of information and tips there shared by other parents.
There is always help out there Mona - emotional support, practical help, information and different services. I am more than happy to chat with you about what your needs might be and how to access resources and services to meet those needs. I share some of your experiences and identify with how you are feeling. You are in my prayers. Keep strong.
