Hi Liv,

I'm so sorry to hear that you and your children are all suffering. This must be terribly difficult for you. From reading the various forums I know that there are others out there who have children who are affected so you are not alone. I would recommend using the key word search to look for previous posts about treating children, this would be the best place to start.

Unfortunately there is no "quick" fix for this.... although from what I have read, children often respond quicker with the supplements & herbal treatment as their immune systems are not as affected by years & years of toxic build up.

I can tell you that I do have a doctor in Sydney who is sympathetic to Morgellons although she doesn't necessarily "treat" for it She treats for Lyme disease in the belief that when the Lyme is under control the symptoms of M will go away. I tested positive to Lyme a few months back. I have not commenced her treatment as yet but I have been on the protocol as recommended here and following the recommended diet which I do believe is helping.

First & foremost, you MUST eliminate sugars. You will also find benefit in eliminating white flours & refined carbs, stopping with gluten, wheat, yeast, dairy, and soy. For me, eating sugar woud instantly make me feel worse and my skin crawling & biting would intensify so the diet (along with the supplements & herbal applications to the skin & scalp) is what will get you well. Start now.

I am happy to exchange emails if you would like to know who my doctor is but I would think she will want to test you for Lyme (cost $250 per test & you will probably need at least 2-3 just for yourself). But, maybe it is worthwhile contacting her to see if there is anything she can do & if she can take on another case. Also, Nicky Jane posted in this thread about a doctor she has in Kirrawee NSW.

Mel you can give Liv my email address.

Stay strong Liv.
