Welcome! I believe you need to get your Dad on Mel's protocol A.S.A.P. The sooner you get him on it, the sooner you start his healing process. Read the forums on this site it will help you.
I am on the full protocol and have been for almost 3 months, and I have never felt better!
Hannah, Are you on Mel's protocol? I had the stuff in my nose also and dont have any symptoms in my nose now at all. I am not aware of the tumeric, I do know that it is good for you, I cook with it.
I am sure though you could find answers on this site, just put what you want to know about in the search engine and it will direct you to that topic.

We have conference calls on this site that are also very encouraging and informative. Check with Mel and he can send you the times and codes to listen. Mel is a man with a heart of compassion, love and wisdom. He has been through this and is now on top helping others to do the same.
