Hello everyone,

My name's Dave and I live in Northern NSW and am fairly certain I've contracted Morgellons. Before I found this incredible gift of a website, I was feeling fairly lost and desperate, reading horror story after horror story online but with no clear path to any kind of treatment. I just firstly want to give a huge, heartfelt thank you to Mel for creating this site and for all those who selflessly help others healing themselves of this affliction.

My immune system had been compromised for quite a while, as I'm a coeliac and had also had had shingles a few months prior, but it seemed to start with bird mites a few weeks ago. I initially thought it was scabies, and treated myself for that, but, while the permethrin cream would calm then down temporarily, the intense itching and crawling seemed to continue on mostly unabated for the rest of the time.

Slowly, the flat I was staying in got worse and worse, and after much research I realised that the whole place was infested with bird mites. It got so bad I had to abandon it. I had them ID'd by a pest removal specialist, so I know that's what they were. I'm still open to the idea that there was also a fair bot of mould in the flat, as it rains a lot where I live.

Anyway, to make the problem worse, I'd used a lot of chemicals trying to kill the mites, and I'm very chemically sensitive, so I'm guessing that definitely didn't help matters and was probably a large factor in me developing this crazy disease.

The day I left the cabin I had heap of black specks appearing all over my hands, on my arms, feet and legs. I initially thought it still the mites, and kept trying to kill them with chemicals. But soon I started noticing the fibres too. I went to doctors and the hospital, desperate for an answer, but was essentially given some sedatives and turned away as a crazy person. Have to say I found it rather distressing, but I see now in hindsight that they just don't know/or want to know about this, as it doesn't fit neatly into one single thought box.

Since I've cut out almost all sugar over the past few days, upped my colloidal silver dosage and drank both lemon water and apple cider vinegar in the mornings, along with endless cups of rooibos tea, symptoms have begun to subside somewhat, which is heavenly, as I'm able to sleep.

I've already ordered the Morgellons Kit plus the Extension, along with some MMS, and some Kleen Green. Anything else people would recommend? I have eucalyptus, tea tree, neem, clove and other oils, and they were a big help when I was really struggling with it.

At this point, I have a few questions. If anyone would know an answer or two I'd be really grateful

1. Does anyone know roughly how contagious someone would be in my situation? I have some residual itchiness, slight crawling sensations and a small amount of tiny black dots and some tiny fibres emerging from skin.

2. Because I've caught this early, if I stay on the protocol, is there a chance of healing this thing relatively quickly, or am I still in for the long haul, healing-bio-terrain-wise?

3. I had some weird symptoms around the time I think I got Morgellons, including some phantom scratches on my lower back, and a red abscess on my leg with what looked like a splinter in it, would these also point towards Morgellons?

4. Does anyone know of any doctors worth my time? (after reading everyone's experiences with them). It seems to me like I'm much better off tackling this myself if I can't find a health professional who will at least acknowledge this disease.

My apologies for bombarding this thread with questions. Hopefully some people still frequent this one.

Thanks for reading.

Love to all,

Hope springs eternal <3

Dave
