Hi Amber!
My name is Nezhla. I am fairly new here.
I jumped right in going to the conference calls and the Sunday calls because I was very emotional at first and felt that I should make connections soon and join a support group- or else. That's how much I was struggling emotionally, to say the least.
I was greatly encouraged that people told me this is only temporary. It took me hearing from some of the others that are in healing process that they feel they have come a long to way to help me understand that is possible for me and newcomers too. I have been on the protocol for a couple of weeks and have already seen some results, which is exciting for me because I like to know things are working.
Some of the people may reach out to you and even become a buddy or encourage r, and that has really helped me pull through. I considered it a gift from God to have that friendship.
It is fun to join the contests on the conference calls, read through the forums and ask questions of others. I've even ventured out with some of the recipes like the pumpkin pie and chicken dishes in the diet section. I put pumpkin pie in the search engine and found a recipe. I've made it twice already.
During prayer, the thing I look forward to is reading an excerpt from a favorite verse or psalm, and hearing the wonderful selections from others....I know you are in Australia and may have to listen to replay, but there are also jokes you will get to hear as part of the call too.
Best of all, you will learn good eating choices and lifestyle habits that will help you too live in optimal health from here on out and for the rest of your life!!
