Dear Amber,

I'm sorry to hear about what you are going through, fortunately there are others in the. Community that have gone through it too and I was told they have no fear now because of the protocol.

I have something like bird mites, although not exactly sure what and my environment ha s distressed me as well and I cried a lot as well, because it was so hard to control. Through guidance from a mentor, a tried a spider bomb. You can get it from Amazon under the name of Hotshot No Mess Fogger with Odor Neutralizer. Mine had blue on the box and was for one can that treated 2,000 cubic feet of unobstructed space. The box came with three cans in each for a little under 13 dollars and I needed six cans. I bagged up things in the kitchen including dishes and utensils. I put my books and items in the living rooms in bags or drawers. After everything was bagged to my liking, I followed the instructions on how to prepare and make it work. They have all the details on the box, you'll need chairs and paper towels, although I used a stand that had a lot of air space underneath. I put on a mask and gloves, goggles are suggested too. I set it off in the room farthest from my exit door. For me since I wanted to get the hallway bathroom and bedrooms, I set them of in each room including bathroom and left the doors open. Then I did kitchen, dining room and living room last before busting out the door. I if you do it around 3 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon, you would go back to the House the next day around 9 am and open the windows to let air out for two hours. Then you can come back inside. You'll want to stay somewhere for the night. You also want to wash your surfaces down when you get back. If you live in an apartment, I don't recommend doing it at night, but at a time when people aren't home too much during the day. You could check with your landlord.

The fogger did not take everything away, but helped with the might popopulation quite a bit. If you live in your own home, you may be able to do it more than once. I was only allowed to do it once as some neighbors are skeptical about that kind of thing, but my landlord, who is a family friend said that we could spray with a fairly safe pesticide I found on Killskinmites.org called Onslaught if the population gets too high again, or another pesticide that he has. For now, I got a dehumidifier from a friend as a gift and run that for part of the day. I have air-conditioning now and run that for the other part of the day. I put the dehumidifier on 40.

I mop the floor now with one part Kleen Green to two parts water as I read someone online did that to get rid of their mites. I bought a cool vacuum on Amazon that is not expensive but has good suction and has a HEPA filter to vacuum everyday. This. To all keep the population down.

For my car, which was really bad. I put guerilla packing tape down on the floor and seats on the driver side in order to wipe down. At some point I still had problems with bites even with the plastic so I took up the tape which had killed most of what was underneath, then I used natural enzymes. I had. To use a pesticide combo Ed with WPS fumes. This combo helped a lot. I did that three days, but hear that people use the WPS fumes regularly in their car if needed and I will continue to do that as I can't use the pesticide all the time. I am now spraying with one part Kleen Green to two parts water and have added cedar to it. I will keep this up for awhile. If I have. To hit it up with a pesticide in the future, I will, but for now I am doing this because it has gotten the population down a lot. I believe that things wl get better as my help improves too, so the pesticide is only if I need to.

For my bath, I had to treat it a couple of times by putting a gallon of vinegar and a gallon of ammonia with about a cup or two of vinegar. I then filled the tub up so that it was a tbout two or three inches high with liquid so the bottom of the tub was completely covered and then left it for 48 hours. This helped tremendously!! In the meantime between treatments, I wipe the tube out with ammonia and water mixture , let it dry and then Kleen Green. I also treat myself an hour before the shower with essential oils so that I dont have such a hard time with cleaning out the tub. I could not get the mites out of the tub with anything until I let it soak for 48 hours.

For awhile, I had to sit on a 3mil thickness contractor bad in my car and change it everyday. With skin treatments and supplements I'm not having to change it quite everyday. I also had to sleep on two contractor bags and change it everyday because I had scabies situation also and my backside and back kept getting eaten up. Now, after using essential oils all over, usi g Kleen Green on my skin and a coupe of other things. I'm able to not have to change the bags I am sleeping on everyday. I also have started using a lint roller on the sheets and the bags under the sheets and that keeps them cleaner so that I can sleep on them longer.

Thank you and hope that helps some. It seems extreme, but it really helped me.
