Hello Everybody, and Hi to Lisa!

I’m going to attempt to answer your question (Lisa) about biofilm on the skin but, please know, no one has ever accused me of being succinct. I try to be thorough, but please also know I do not know everything, nor am I a medical professional. I’m just a person who’s been dealing with this for the last eight years and I’m also a person who has come a very long way. I am intensely interested in biofilm on the skin right now because it’s what’s left of all the years of suffering, and it’s my next (and I hope last) battle I’m gearing up to fight with everything I have.

I’m a broken record about this, but I’m going to say it again…thank GOD for Mel and the protocol. I’m not going to even go into all the hellish symptoms I had before finding him or how sick I was, but suffice it to say…it was bad. I would not be here to write this post today without him. I was extremely ill. If you are new and reading this, I cannot stress emphatically enough that you need to read read read, listen to and attend the conference calls, and get one on one coaching from Mel. Those things are game changers.

Now I’m pretty healthy for a 66 year-old woman who still works at a demanding job, so that alone is a miracle…and I attribute this completely to Mel and the protocol. But back to biofilm.

If you’re reading this and you don’t know much about biofilm, please scroll to the bottom of this thread and read the explanation I originally wrote about it. Again…I don’t claim to be a medical professional, but I still find the information in it relevant for my purposes, and I hope you do too.

Here’s some further information about biofilm:

• It takes a full scale multi-pronged approach to get rid of it applied consistently over a long period of time.
• Addressing it is not for the fearful. I can say this because I’ve spent a lot of time whimpering, crying and whining in the fetal position in my bed (chair, car, and just about anywhere else I landed) and asking God why he’s so incredibly mean. I obviously wasn’t operating at my highest spiritual or maturity level when I indulged in these emotional episodes, but there it is. Acceptance has been difficult for me, but it is indeed my friend…although I’ve only accepted it over time and with a lot of kicking and screaming. Unfortunately, this originally led to my losing a considerable amount of time before I finally began the protocol with fidelity…although once I finally got serious, I was able to get to the point of wellness I am now. Please forgive me for being so straightforward about the mindset it takes. I’m saying all of this to help. I think biofilm is a whole other piece to this puzzle and it’s not easy…and that is putting it mildly. However, others have done it…and we can too.

• I have to make sure I’m clear about the following…It is not possible to get rid of biofilm externally by using some type of topical solution. If that were a possibility I’d have gotten rid of it long ago. Yes…topical solutions can help, but only if you are addressing it from the inside and doing the sum of the parts as well. Lisa…you mentioned some of your biofilm is around your eyes. Please be careful with anything you put around your eyes. The only thing I’d use in this area would be the silver. You can use other topical solutions elsewhere on your face and or body, but be careful around your eyes. You asked if this can create permanent eye damage, and I don’t know. All I can assume is that this condition left unaddressed could do some damage to any parts of our bodies, which is why it’s so important to get serious about it in the most valiant way you can muster and as soon as possible. Just remember…the biggest way you’re going to address it is from the inside. On a more positive note, many have reported a complete renewal of general health after getting well from this disease. All the things you will do to eradicate it will have a positive effect on the rest of your body. Please do not lose hope here…just focus on what you need to do and have faith.

• There are a lot of moving parts to addressing this disease and in addressing biofilm in particular, and each part has to have full attention extremely consistently over a long period of time. One might ask…how long? That was sure my question at first. I basically blew a gasket when I found out that 18 months was a conservative estimate and it took longer than that for most others. I wanted to make it Mel’s fault. I let him know I “couldn’t do that” about any number of the sum of the parts and I thought it a lot more than I told him (because I like to keep my head attached to my shoulders). However…I soon realized, it wasn’t like Mel was holding out the “faster way” from me just to be arbitrary. Lol…if he knew a faster way, trust me, my friend Mel would not be able to keep it to himself…he’d yell it to the world. So…once a person gets to the point of acceptance then it’s up to that person to point and shoot. And I’m speaking from experience here…the sooner the better.

Ok…here’s what it takes:

1. Get yourself in the best health possible before going rouge on the biofilm. That’s where the basic protocol comes in…and that, along with diet and sleep (not to mention minimizing stress as much as you can) will get you in shape to deal with it.

2. You are going to take things internally to kill off these pathogens. The killers are MSM, Olive Leaf Extract, Monolaurin, Magnifizyme, and of course our best friend in all of this…the gaggy tasting, yet very effective WPS. These are the arsenal of killers. When you experience die off, you’ll herx. Please read the original post on this thread. Herxing is not fun. You’ll experience more biofilm and purging too. In my opinion, this is probably the thing that scares people to death and stops them from going full scale on the offense. It sure has been true for me, I won’t lie. Purging is the scary part…as in WHAT IS THAT???

3. But…to kill them you have to get to them. That’s where biofilm busters come in. Again…Magnifizyme (which is serrapeptase) is a biofilm buster. Once you break open a biofilm, the toxins will come out and make you feel even sicker (herx), but you have to do it to get to them, otherwise, the pathogens hide out in these biofilms and you can’t kill them. This is where I say the approach is not for the fearful. This is also why Mel is always saying slow and steady. If you dive bomb the biofim with busters and killers all at once, it will not help. It also (in my opinion) might make them get back in their little biofilm land and come up with ways to be stronger next time. This is why it’s a slow and steady approach…you just have to stay after them.

4. A quick word about diet here…stay on it. I can be the world’s worst when I get stressed, so I know what I’m saying. But...if you’re going to go to all the trouble to attack these pathogens, don’t feed them at the same time.

5.There are some natural ways to bust biofilms as well. I’ve added some of these and they do help. But…it’s good to clear any of this with Mel first because he has a broader perspective since he’s been doing this a long time. Here are some natural biofilm busters:
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Garlic
- Oregano
- Cinnamon
- Curcumin
- Cranberry
- Stevia
- Olive oil
- Monolaurin
Do take time to go to the Logos Nutritionals web site and read about each supplement. You’ll be surprised to find that many of the above mentioned are already in the protocol.

6.Once you get die off, you have to make sure you get them out of your body. That’s where water comes in. Drink a lot of it. Another big help is to make sure you keep your lymphatic system moving. You don’t want the sludge from the die off toxins to get stuck in your lymphatic system because you could reabsorb some of the garbage and undo the good you’ve done when you killed them in the first place. The lymphatic system is the garbage / toxin removal system of your body. The heart pumps blood, but we have no organ that pumps the lymphatic fluid out of us. It’s up to us to do this. Exercise it a big help for this…particularly jumping. That’s why Mel has had a lot of information on his site about getting a mini trampoline. I bought one a few years ago and went too cheap. It had no bounce and I ended up throwing it away because I never used it and I didn’t think anyone else could get any use out of it either. Just this week, I bought a good one from Amazon. I’ll send Mel a link for it so he can use it in the pic on this post. I’m sure there are other ones that weren’t this expensive that might be ok, (this one was around $165) but I thought buying one and throwing it away was REALLY expensive, so I went with a better quality this time. I just put it together yesterday and I like that it’s so sturdy and has a handle. I put it in my family room so I could watch tv while jumping…that way, I’ll be more likely to use it. From what I’ve read, you don’t have to jump like an Olympic athlete…just jump on it on and off throughout the day. My first goal is fifty hops each time, and so far I’m able to do it. Ladies…you might have the same issue I do…the hopping rattles certain parts of your body and can make it uncomfortable to jump. I’ve solved this by wearing an athletic bra over my regular bra (yes…two at the same time) and it really helps. I can now see what the laced-up ladies of long ago must have felt like…but I’m going to do it because it’s a way to make this work.

Another thing I’ve read about lymphatic flow is to use a dry brush. There are dry brushes on Amazon for this purpose and they’re not expensive. You use these on dry skin before a bath or shower and there are Youtube videos that tell you how to do it to address lymphatic flow. I just ordered a set of these yesterday from Amazon and the set was less than $20. They should be delivered this afternoon, and I’ll report back when I try them.

7.I’m going to call the next step the sandwich method. This means to kill the pathogens from the inside with the methods stated above, AND to get address them from the outside too. I’m going to refer to Terry’s journey for this because I think she described this perfectly when she shared how she handled her hair and sleeping situation every single night. Yes…Terry is my idol because this lady did not back down on ANY of the Sum of the Parts, and as a result, she is WELL. Terry, if you are reading this, please forgive me and correct me if I make any mistakes in what I’m about to share related to your journey, but I’m going to use my takeaways from your experience to illustrate a point. Terry described a very thorough method she used nightly with her hair. I can only assume that this is where she experienced the most biofilm. Yes…biofilm can attach to hair. Find Terry’s Tribute and read it if you haven’t already…she describes it perfectly. Terry treated her hair every single night in a very specific way and had a very particular routine with what she used for her bed linens and what she used as a pillow, all of which she washed daily.

Thinking about doing what she did is a LOT of work…but…she’s living her life now, so it’s worth noting. As another tribute to Terry…this took her more than 18 months…I believe she did this for three or four years. She is amazing in her discipline and faith and she’s reaping the benefits of her hard work now. She is well.

Here’s the situation. We purge at night…especially when we’re hitting this with everything we have. These pathogens get in our sheets and if we don’t get rid of them through washing, we can reabsorb them the next night. It depends on where you are in your healing as to how often you have to wash your sheets, but I’ve found that when you are hitting it the hardest, you’ll purge a lot at night and that’s the time to be extremely diligent about the sheet washing. There are a lot of different methods people use to wash their bed linens and that topic has been written about quite a bit on this forum. Do a search and take a look and then decide what works best for you.

8.As for things to use topically, there are so many I’m sure I’ll leave some out. Again…please do read Terry’s Tribute about the things she used on her hair at night. She was very consistent with this and it paid off. Here are some things I’ve used and things I’ve heard that others use. Most of us going through this have ordered / bought a huge variety of products for addressing skin topically, so some of you might want to jump in in on a reply post and share what you’ve used. Just remember…topical treatments can relieve symptoms, and can even kill pathogens on their way out…but they are not going to get rid of biofilm even if the biofilm is on your skin...it gets eradicated from what you do internally. I think topical treatments can be very effective for working WITH the protocol (internal elements of the Sum of the Parts) because if something is still alive on it’s way out of your skin, then what you’ve applied topically on can kill it.
Ok…here are some topical solutions although it’s not a complete list:

- Spray WPS, Kleen Green dilutes on your skin one at a time and then apply stevia. This is called the Hallelujah Treatment and it’s very helpful.
- Sovereign Silver (you can buy colloidal silver in a gel too)
- MSM gel
- Coconut oil
- grapeseed oil
- oregano oil and clove oil – be careful!!!! These can burn…dilute in an oil
- other essential oils…read Terry’s post about her hair solution
- I like to open a Magnifizyme capsule and mix it into a combination of the above…I think it helps break open the biofilm a little bit
- I also like to dilute a little borax in water and apply it topically
- I’m sure there are others, but just remember…these topical solutions can help by killing things that purge out of your skin, by relieving symptoms, and by encouraging some topical purging, and by working with what we do internally...but they are NOT a stand-alone treatment…again...your big offense is what you do internally.

This post has gotten really long, and I apologize for it, but I wanted to share everything I could think of.

Much love,

Karen
