I have been using this site and Mel for several years. Initially I was reluctant to join up. I did finally join the site after observing for a couple of months. I attempted to read and process all of the information on the site. It was a bit overwhelming. I then decided to reach out to Mel and do a consultation. Initially I thought I could get well in around a year. And I made good progress initially. I didn't fully understand the magnitude of my illness. As I continued treatment and learned what factors impacted the effectiveness of my treatment, I realized that there were a couple of factors that were going to slow my recovery down. Rest and diet. I work 40 hours plus a week. I work a lot of weekends. What I do requires some physical labor. Having said all of the above, I could not function on 30 carbs a day. And I wasn't able to get all of the rest I needed. learned all of this through coaching. Over the last six months I have made marked improvement. Because I am trying to maximize any opportunity to rest my body and I have tighten up my diet watching my carb intake as much as possible. So, from my personal experience this process works. Everyone is different and the recovery process will be different for everyone. I encourage you to tap into the conference calls. There is a lot of information shared on these calls. You don't have to participate, but you can listen and learn. I would also encourage you to try coaching. I personally misinterpreted some of the information and unknowingly slowed down my recovery. Mel will keep you on track. This is not an easy process and takes time. Use the information available to you to its fullest. Tap in and get involved. I know ............ by nature guys tend to be more behind the scenes. I know because I did the same thing. I truly feel for anyone dealing with this condition. This is probably the hardest thing I have dealt with in my life. I do see the end in sight, so stay the course and keep moving forward. Teddy | |||
