I went from fear again to having a very productive day and just like others here, I just cannot express enough thanks for your unwavering support, straight talk, and information all mixed into one brief call. Your commitment to the people here day in and day out, shows your tenacity as to why you are healthy now. There really is no other alternative, sink or swim. Just like Dora in the Disney Movie- Finding Nemo says ' just keep swimming' - I always loved that movie and the message is the same for the Dad-fish to find his lost son Nemo out in the big ocean, there really is no alternative but to keep swimming despite all the obstacles-sharks, jellyfish,fishermen,the vastness of the ocean itself.... in the end, and after almost giving up, he finds his son- someone once told me, this disease might take my body, but it is not taking my spirit- for now, I have a lot of living to do and this darn disease is not taking me to that place anymore as long as the body holds out, I will swim- I may need more calls like this, but that's A ok- thanks so much Mel! |
